Original Painting "Charting Hope"

"Charting Hope" is a visual representation of the my experience with breast cancer. Diagnosed stage 2 in 2013, the disease progressed to Stage 4 metastatic in 2019, meaning the cancer has spread elsewhere my body.

The journey has had both heights and lows - white representing hope and black representing despair. Both these emotions arrive in varying degrees of intensity, sometimes combined. Pink on the left represents breast cancer. The colors abruptly give way to pink, teal and green, representing metastatic breast cancer (MBC).

My hope is this painting resonates with others - whether the viewer has direct experience with breast cancer, those loved ones providing support, or others feeling empathy throughout the journey.
